Activites at MSC
Whether you come for Encounter Week, or visit for an Herb Walk Weekend, or come for Beltane with MSC, you’ll experience living with others in an ecovillage framework, and reconnect with Self, Nature, and Spirit. You’ll gain hands-on experience in living in an eco-spiritual community with a vision for both preservation, and restoration.
You’ll take part in community ritual at the bonfire, join in meditations, attend workshops of your choosing, experience a Sound Bath, share meals with other visitors, and Members of Mystic Star, and other whole-community activities. You can spend unscheduled free time as you choose – exploring the Land, taking dips in the creek, or relaxing by your own campfire at your campsite.
Participants form a community within the village by sharing meals, social activities, their experiences, and hearth-tending tasks. Many participants come during, or while preparing for, a life transition – questioning aspects of their current lifestyle, and curious about their options, and learning what’s possible. Others come just for a chance to be in a different place around different people, while enjoying tasty, wholesome meals.

Gay Men's Retreat
We don’t like leaving anyone out, but that’s what Encounter Week is for! This event is specifically for gay men. Please leave your kids at home, because this is a clothing-optional event, and generally ends up with naked dancing around a bonfire (not unlike Beltane, but with only guys).
This is a four-day, four-night event, and is scheduled for June 13-17, 2024. (You’ll head home on the morning of the 17th.)
Herb Walk Weekend
Come enjoy a wonderful two-night stay (Friday night, and Saturday night), and spend time reconnecting with community, and Mother Nature. This weekend is chock full of plenty of time for relaxation, but during the day, you’ll take a stroll through the woods, and our Resident Herbal Specialist will guide you, and teach you what’s edible, what’s not, and how to use the medicinal properties of our Plant Family.
(This event is not yet scheduled for 2024.)
Beltane with MSC
Beltane, 2024, is scheduled for May 1-5 (you’ll head home on Sunday morning, May 5th). Children are welcome, but must be at your campsite, or with the Children’s Bonfire Team, after 10 p.m. eastern time. At 10 p.m. is when the party gets started, and folks start shedding their clothing, so NO MINORS may be present at that time.
Unfortunately, tickets have sold out for Beltane, 2024.
